I am flying to Thailand in a couple of weeks and have received an ‘e-ticket’, which is just an email with my flight details on. Is this all I need to fly?
Tried to call directly but there was a long queue, wondered if anyone else had used one of these strange newfangled tickets yet?
I haven’t seen a paper ticket in years.
E-tickets work just fine, just step up to the check-in counter and say ‘I am so-and-so, flying to X’ and give your passport.
Just to be on the safe side print out your e-ticket; there should be a reservation number that they could ask about (although nobody ever did in my case)

Yes…the email is all you need (plus the credit card you used to make the booking)
Actually usually you don’t even need the email as they ID you from your passport and credit card….
Although its a very good idea to take it along
You can also check in online now these days….this cuts down the standing in line and lets you choose the seat you want on the plane….as most people do this now you will be left with the crap seats at the back if you don’t!
Enjoy Thailand

eticket is like any ordinary ticket, wit the difference that you have always to carry your id. The nameage and sex should be same in both.

No; you will need to check in at the airport and get a boarding pass before your flight, as a rule. One more good reason to get there early!

Nope. Well, I got one too. I just kept it with my passport. Some Asian countries may request it, but since I was travelling unaccompanied last time I had an e-Ticket, they didn’t want it.
